My Holiday Collab w/ West Elm

I’ve been collaborating with West Elm on some projects over the past year. It’s been hard not to talk about this, because products take so long to come out in the retail cycle. When they approached me with some collaboration ideas in 2022, I was over the moon. You all know I’m particular about who I work with because I put so much energy into my print shop. I have very little extra time left over for additional endeavors. For West Elm though, it was a ‘hell yes!’ It’s nice when decisions feel easy.

West Elm felt like the perfect matchup for my art style. I’m not only a fan of their brand aesthetic, but a loyal customer. I’m so lucky their team has been beyond amazing to work with. We’ve just meshed well, which has made these projects even more enjoyable.

When I was told I’d be working on some holiday content, that was the icing on the cake. If I could just make holiday content year-round, that would be alright by me. Once they mentioned we’d be making NY themed pillows, I was even more thrilled.

I’m happy to announce our first collaboration is finally in store! And it’s a holiday ice skaters in Central Park pillow. I did the original art in gouache, which was translated by them into pillows. I’m obsessed with how these pillows turned out - perks of working with such a well established brand. All the little details of the pillows, from the quality of the fabric to the hand stitching are amazing.

You can purchase the pillow here, if you want to add to your holiday decor. I just received mine in the mail, and I can’t wait to display in my own home this winter.

I am still collaborating with West Elm on more projects, so hopefully I’ll have more to share in the future!
