My New Blog Post Schedule & Other Updates

As you know, I recently launched my membership program The Green Paint Society, and I’m still trying to figure out how to make this program benefit my subscribers long term.

This month, I’ve kept up my usual blog posting schedule of sharing public blog posts every Wednesday. Starting next month, I’ll be going down to bi-weekly public blog posts. They will come out on the first Wednesday of the month and the third Wednesday of the month. On the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, I’ll be sharing two bonus posts with my Green Paint Society members only. That way, I can keep up my regular schedule of posting weekly without getting burnt out.

My Green Paint Society blog posts will have more insider themes. I’ll talk about my personal life and get into the nitty gritty of making my art. Some upcoming GPS articles I have planned are my favorite art hacks, a tour of my home, and a color chart of all my Prismacolor pencils.

I love how my program is evolving as I test things out. I’m coming up with lots of new ideas. Another new addition I’m making to the program is to start sharing exclusive snapshots from my sketchbook. An added bonus is that this will hold me accountable to working in my sketchbook more, something I often forget when I’m caught up in the day-to-day of running my business.

If you want to sign up for my GPS members only program, you can sign up here for $5.99/month. By the way, if any of you had trouble signing up this past month, Squarespace changed things up on me, so I had to make a few page updates to get sign up running again. You should be able to join now without a problem. I’m apologize profusely if any of you ran into this issue!

So what else have I been up to lately? Well, I recently created a Prospect Park (Brooklyn, NY) illustration. I’d received several requests to create this, and I always take customer requests seriously. It’s now for sale in my shop.

As usual, my newsletter will be going out next week on the last day of the month. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can subscribe here. This is the best place to get updates from me on what’s new. I also share my favorite things from the month, and I have lots to share this time around.

My Level Up Your Art course is still in the works, scheduled to be released this Fall. I have the course packet complete. I’m just working on filming the course segments.

Other than that, I’ve been doing some holiday commercial illustration projects behind the scenes. More to come on those soon!
